There's a discussion on CDF about this but we were told to post comments/suggestions here. A few members are expressing they don't think another forum is necessary. The format of this forum is also not very easy easy to use/navigate, especially for those of us accustomed to vbulletin. I realize drupal is free and vbulletin is not, but it's not likely members will visit this forum frequently unless it's easier to use. The only reason I'm bringing this up is because it was mentioned that the CDF may not be used for communicating CDS news in the future. I'd really like to not see this happen. I don't have much time for the fora as it is and adding another one isn't likely to happen, especially if I ha e to get used to a different format. Also, by having a presence on the CDF, information is being communicated to non-members also, and may even help increase the membership. It may be more work, but I'd like to see CDS communication on remain on CDF even if it's here too.
